22 Dec. 2004 the last meeting of the Year. Theme : "2005 - Experience the Difference" cum Guest Nite.
TOE was Wong Sook Chin and we all had a great  great time. There were 12 guests and 9 members.
We ended the meeting by singing Audlang syne and drinking fruit juice to usher in a better year in 2005.
 
After the meeting Dr Terry measured some of our energy level using 2 rods. Some had a very high energy level while most had an average level. 
 
Dr Terry even "energized" one of our guests.
 
All in all we not only had a  Toastmasters meeting but also an encounter with the Reiki Master- Dr Terry Ng

We had another exciting thematic evening on 8th Dec. The theme was "DARE TO BE YOURSELF" with Anita as TOE leading us in a great time.Ting Song Lang from Singapore was the guest of the evening ; Salim and Maniam from SP Toastmasters Club attended

NEWS
10 Nov 2004 Theme "CELEBRATION"
 
Peter was the TOE and led us in a fun-filled evening. Ong Soon Hoon led in the Table topic based on the theme. Humour Master Kenneth (who says he's a serious person and not thehumourous kind) belted out 3 hilarous jokes. He proved him wrong.
 
Had a guest Lee Chen Wen who searched the Internet for a club nearby. Lee gave a great introduction about himself and expressed his opinion on the picture topic session.
Anita  made her presence felt with her scintillating dress and personality despite it being the eve of Deepavali, her Hindu festival.
Attendence was 9

Kangar Toastmasters Club will be having their regular meeting on 17 September,2003 at 8pm (venue to be confirmed)..
 
If you have friends  please invite them to attend this meeting as the members are trying to get enough people interested to get the club chartered.

  1. Lee Seong Soo presenented his Ice-Breaker speech on 23-7-2003
  2. Dr. Azizah Johor presented her 4th speech project Show What you Mean
  3. Dr. Azizah Johor took on the role of the Table-Topic master for the first time.

13 August 2003

  1. There were 10 people at the meeting -2 were guests. Sithambaram (guest) from Sungai Petani Toastmasters Club presented his ATM-B #8  speech.It was a great meeting with Ong Soon Hooi leading  the Table-Topic session on subjects like 'Old is gold' & "Euthanasia".Humour master Sarjit had us in stiches with his jokes and humor while wordmaster Peter helped us to understand the word " embark" and to pronunce it correctly(as im bark). The TOE Hj Ramli  did a great job in controlling making the evening  an enjoyable night.

Peter - fantastic website and very useful and knowledgeable.
I spent the last hour on it and yet would like to read more. Keep up the good job. Who is updating it? Lets keep it regularly updated, otherwise we add to the many who enthusiastically start but find no time to maintain it.
